Reservation Terms and Conditions at Ashfield House

Minimum Stay and Tariff:
All rates shown are per room and are based on 2 guests sharing a room. We have a minimum 2-night stay at weekends, and 3 nights during Bank Holiday weekends. The tariff quoted includes accommodation, any board agreed, and VAT at the prevailing rate. Occasionally we are able to offer a one night stay at weekends at a supplement of £15.00 as long as they are booked directly with us.

We accept the following forms of payment: cash, debit, credit, and charge cards, regrettably we are unable to accept cheques.

Deposit:
A deposit which is equivalent to your first night’s stay will be taken on booking, the rest is payable on departure.

Rates:
Rates include accommodation and any board indicated. We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards. We do not accept cheques.

Cancellation and Insurance:
Once you have made your reservation, our agreement becomes a legally binding contract. The deposit which you have paid, less a £15 administration/card fee will be returned if cancellation is made up to 14 days before your arrival date. For cancellations made up to 14 days before your arrival date, or by failing to take up the reservation without cancelling, we reserve the right to charge 100% of the booking value.
Please Note On line reservations will be charged in full. Alternatively, if you would prefer to pay only for  the cost of the first night you are welcome to make your reservation direct with Ashfield House on 01756 752584. All other terms and conditions apply in full.
Discounted rates will be charged in full at the time of the reservation. These rates cannot be altered or cancelled. No monies will be refunded.

The cancellation details for reservations of 3 rooms or more are agreed at the time of the reservation.
We encourage you to consider taking out cancellation insurance, which can be obtained from various brokers. 

Non-availability:
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Damages and Breakages:
Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge of £50.00 if you did not report this.

Liability:
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of their employment.

Data:
Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer locally. We do not hold any financial details on our computers these are held By Barclaycard Merchant banking on our behalf.
